Infographics

The Infographics component combines text, icons, and numbers to present data or key facts in a clear and visual way. It helps simplify complex information so readers can scan and understand insights quickly.

Infographics are particularly effective in newsletters, reports, and campaign emails where visual impact and data storytelling are important.

When to use

Use an infographic when you need to:

• summarise key facts or data at a glance
• highlight comparisons, percentages or milestones
• add visual emphasis to your message
• show a process, trend or outcome visually.

When not to use

Avoid using infographics when:

• the data set is large and better suited to a report or dashboard
• there's no meaningful data – avoid using graphics for decoration
• you don't include supporting text – infographics must not replace accessible content.

Layout options

Infographics are available in stacked and horizontal layouts. Each layout offers column options to suit the amount and type of information you want to present.

Design guidance

• Use simple icons that reinforce meaning but don't distract.
• Keep numbers large and prominent – they are the focal point.
• Maintain a consistent colour system (for example, semantic colours or primary/secondary palette).
• Avoid overloading a single infographic – no more than 4–6 data points per block.
